- Kurt is the older brother of Kyle; he was born in Las Vegas, Nevada, on August 4, 1978 (age 39). He started racing with his brother and father on dirt tracks with go-karts. After his education, he wanted to race and quickly joined to kick off his career. He had other interests such as traveling but he wanted to race first and foremost.
- Kurt Busch's wife Ashley Van Metre now Ashley Busch was born in Virginia to Deadria Van Metre and Mr. Beau Van Metre, Chairman of The Hill School in Middleburg, Virginia. She completed her education at The Hill School and was excellent in sports so soon after that she played Polo and went on to have a modeling career as well. Kurt and Ashley were married on 7th January 2017.
- Ashley was a competitive Polo Player and she excelled at it she also worked as a model for a few shots and made a name for her looks, she was loved by all and her personality shined through her career. She was always interested in sports that is one of the connections she had with Kurt. Her parents are educators and she had a proper education because of them.
- Kurt Busch's wife Ashley Busch was introduced to him on the family farm by Ashley's sister. The two immediately hit it off and soon were in contact with each other. Kurt has told that they used to be up till 5 am talking about sports and has said Ashley is his shooting star. They both have a loving relationship and can't get enough of each other.
- The current condition of relationship: Currently after their marriage, they are happily living together and they are enjoying each other's company. They share pictures together and are attending racing events together and Ashley is seen supporting Kurt in all of the races he is in. She and Kurt have supported each other in every decision they take.
