On October 20, 2020, Danielle gave an interview in which she described repeated incidents of alleged verbal and physical abuse from Mike. She asserts that one night during an argument in February 2020, Mike became angry after an altercation with a woman at a bar, and once they were home, took his frustrations out on Danielle by pushing her to the ground and hitting her with a flurry of punches, causing her face to bruise.
