The 33-year-old UFC fighter who became the youngest champion in UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) history is known for his title defenses, wins, submissions and controversies. It seems the 19-year-old college dropout who worked hard to provide for his family has vanished and has been replaced by a drug and alcohol addict. Anyway, let’s take a look at his relationships, which have been the subject of controversy as well.

Jon Jones met Jessie Moses in high school. He was a senior while she was a junior. They started dating which continued even after both of them graduated high school and went off to different community colleges. However, Jon dropped out and began training to be a professional MMA fighter while having a part-time job as a bouncer. Jessie was still in college in 2007, when she found out she was pregnant. Their daughter, Leah, was born on July 11, 2008. Two more daughters were born subsequently; Carmen Nicole in December 2009, and Olivia Haven on March 4, 2013. Carmen was named after Jon’s late sister, who died of brain cancer. In March 2013, during Easter, Jon proposed to Jessie, and she said yes. Jon and Jessie live in Ithaca, New York with their family when he is not training in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

It is not clear whether Jon and Jessie are married or not. While no official wedding date or photos are known, Jon has referred to Jessie as his wife multiple times on social media and interviews. Other fighters like Daniel Cormier and Colby Covington have also referred to Jessie as Jon’s wife. It is not clear whether the couple got married in secret or are being extra romantic with each other.

Jessie Moses, Jon Jones’ girlfriend/wife/fiancée/baby mama, was born on September 12, 1987, in Endicott, New York. She studied at Endicott High School. After graduating in 2006, she went to Broome Community College in Broome County, New York. Jessie is a housewife and does not post much on social media. She is a full-time mother to their three children.

In separate interviews with Ariel Helwani in 2014 and Joe Rogan in 2016, Jon Jones has stated that he has another daughter. The name of the daughter or of her mother is not known. What we do know is, that girl is Jon’s oldest daughter, about one year older than Leah. In some MMA forums, it was revealed that the girl and her mother live in Iowa. That is plausible because Jon attended Iowa Central Community College, before transferring to Morrisville State College.
In 2016, Chael Sonnen mentioned in one of his podcasts that Jon Jones has five children with three women. The veracity of this claim was never contested, neither proven. However, it begs the question: Is Chael saying the truth?
In 2017, Jon Jones’ former college roommate, Colby Covington made some disparaging comments about Jon Jones. One of those comments were “Go cheat on your wife some more man.” It is not known whether there is any truth behind these words.
In 2019, a cocktail waitress at a strip club in Albuquerque accused Jon Jones of slapping her, putting her in a chokehold, kissing her neck, and touching her inappropriately even after she said no. Jon pleaded no contest to the charges.
