Facts on Chris Hogan and his wife Ashley Boccio: Family Bio
- Chris Hogan was born on October 24, 1987 (age 30) in Wyckoff, New Jersey. Hogan grew up in Wyckoff, New Jersey, and played both football and lacrosse at Ramapo High School. He was a first-team All-New Jersey performer as a junior and senior in lacrosse and an all-state first-teamer as a senior in football. Hogan chose to attend Penn State on a scholarship to help build a rising Nittany Lions men's lacrosse program. Taking advantage of the year of college eligibility remaining after his 2008 ankle injury, Hogan chose to enroll at Monmouth University to play football for its Hawks.
- Ashley Boccio played as a defender for the Nittany Lions and earned many accolades doing so. She received Academic All-Big Ten honors as a junior and was the "anchor" of the PSU defense. In that season, she started all 16 games for the team and finished with 18 groundballs in addition to causing 8 turnovers.
- Chris Hogan's wife Ashley Boccio is a doctor and is currently studying for her Podiatry residency at New York College of Podiatric Medicine. She reportedly isn't going to be in attendance in Houston for the Super Bowl because of her pregnancy. Boccio has an interest in CrossFit and has taken part in the Reebok CrossFit Games before. She is part of team Port Power, an affiliate of CrossFit Port Washington.
- Hogan played lacrosse in his time at Penn State University, and so did Boccio. It's how the two first met when Boccio was a freshman. Hogan reportedly proposed to Boccio on a trip to New York City in 2014. According to their wedding website, they will officially say "I Do" on July 1, 2017, at Westmount Country Club in New Jersey.
- Boccio and Hogan were expecting twins. They took to Instagram to make the announcement in early January 2017. A caption on their birth announcement said, "Thought we were going for an extra point, I guess we went for two," signifying the twins. And They soon had them in their arms and are looking to now raise their children together.
