- Mark Alan Webber is an Australian Formula One driver. After some racing success in Australia, Webber moved to the United Kingdom in 1995 to further his motorsport career. Webber began a partnership with fellow Australian Paul Stoddart, at that time owner of the European Racing Formula 3000 team, which eventually took them both into Formula One when Stoddart bought the Minardi team.
- Mark was born in Queanbeyan, New South Wales on 27 August 1976 (age 41), He is the son of Alan Webber a local motorcycle dealer, and his wife Diane. Mark also has an older sister Leanne who is the mother of two daughters. Mark completed his education at Karabar High School. Since his childhood he idolized great racers such as Alain Prost and Grand Prix motorcycle racer Kevin Schwartz, he always wanted to race.
