The Valencia FC diehard started playing tennis when he was 8. He became a pro in his passionate career 10 years later. In his career, he has won 26 singles titles and 2 doubles titles on the ATP tour. He came close to being number 1 in 2013 when he was ranked at the 3rd place in the ATP tour list. David started dating his girlfriend Marta Tornel in 2008 and married her in November 2015. The marriage took place in Valencia, Spain.
