Morgan Rielly is a popular Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman and alternate captain of the Toronto Maple Leafs of the National Hockey League (NHL). Rielly came from Hamilton, Ontario. He is the son of Andy and Shirley. Andy owns the Rielly Lumber and Shirley works as a cancer researcher. His family owns a lab called Maggie. He has an older brother, Connor and his best friend is Jake Gardiner, who was his teammate and roommate.

There were multiple rumors that Morgan had been dating Canadian Olympic figure skater Tessa Virtue since late 2019. There was no official confirmation on their relationship until Tessa posted some photos on Instagram saying that they are in a relationship. Tessa Virtue was born in London, Ontario, Canada, to parents Kate Virtue and Jim Virtue. She is the youngest of her four siblings.
She attended Holy Names High School in Windsor as well as an electronic learning school called AMDEC based in Stratford, Ontario. At the age of nine, she devoted herself to skating. Moreover, she studied psychology at the University of Windsor in 2007 and graduated in 2014 from the University of Western Ontario. Some people think that Virtue and dance partner, Scott Moir had a relationship but, they explained their relationship as "best friends" Tessa added, "It's a special partnership. We think the world of one another". Later, Virtue informed publicly that she has been in a relationship with Toronto Maple Leafs defenceman Morgan Rielly in March 2020.
Recently in an interview, the couple told that they are both quarantining together in Vancouver. “We’re lucky we’re able with safe distances that we can be outside,” Virtue said. She also revealed that they’re trying “to motivate each other” to keep active.
