- Takuma Sato was born on 28 January 1977 (age 40) in Tokyo, Japan. Since he was a kid Sato wanted to cycle, he won many medals and champions during his time at his high school. He completed his degree and then decided to start his career in racing, working hard and with patience he finally entered the F1 stage, later he left and joined other smaller racing tournaments.
- Takuma Sato's wife Chiharu Sato was a long time girlfriend of Sato's he wanted to marry her and the two tied the knot on July 31, 2005. They are very happy together and are proud parents of two children. Chiharu is a devoted wife and caring mother her priority is her family above all else.
- Takuma Sato's wife is not known in the racing community as she has always preferred to stay behind the camera. Nobody really knows much about her. It is safe to say that currently she isn't working anywhere and takes part in the upbringing of her kids and making sure to support her husband.
- Ever since the start Takuma and Chiharu have had a great relationship, they have stayed away from the media and have lived their lives in peace. They are focused on having a family and as such have never been interested in coming in the open. They have been seen together in some areas but only a few times. They met through their local contacts and dated for a few years and have then come to tie the knot and having two kids together
- Since their marriage, they have had a happy married life. They would want to live their lives and enjoy it with their children. They seem happy together and have supported each other. Chiharu has always been there for her husband and has supported his career fully.
