Albert, however, expressed his intention to marry Deidre and also adopt her daughter. They tied the knot on 1st January 2000.

Deidre Corona Pujols, the pretty wife of was born in Roeland Park, Kansas City. She is also known as Dee Dee. Deidre was from an Irish-American mother and a Mexican-American father. She also has a brother, younger than her. In her high school days, she happened to be considered a good player in several sports viz. Softball, football, and also baseball but unfortunately following an injury, she had to abstain from continuing all those sports.
After completing her studies in high school, Deidre joined Kansas City University. Eventually, during her college days, she couldn't engage herself only in her studies but had to juggle with her job. At the same time, there was a havoc change in her social status. She became a single mother by giving birth to a girl child, Isabella who had Down's Syndrome from her birth. After her marriage with Albert, she has been engaged with a number of functions and assignments. Presently, she is the C.E.O. of Pujols Family Foundations formed in 2005.
