She was born in Lindsey Caroline Kildow in St. Paul, Minnesota. She is the daughter of Linda Anne and Alan Lee Kildow. She grew up in the Twin Cities metropolitan area in Burnsville, Minnesota. She is of Norwegian, German, and Irish ancestry.
